So much concern has been attributed to alopecia areata that questions are often asked concerning the disease. However, the likelihood of it is still small as only one in five has been the observed ratio. Present findings still does not support the disease being transferred from parent to a child in a fifty fifty ratio, as other hereditary diseases are.
