Hair Loss and Natural Ways to Treat the Condition


Hair loss is perhaps the most common malady suffered by people. It is ordinary for a man to lose his hair as he grows older. Women may also be affected by hair loss especially during pregnancy and while under certain medications. It is in fact that hair loss may occur at any age for both sexes. There are two common types of hair loss. One is Adrogenetic Alopecia and the other is Alopecia Areata. The Androgenetic Alopecia type of hair loss occurs when the effects start to become visible from the forehead to the center of the head. On the other hand, Alopecia Areata occurs on any part of the head. Hair loss varies according to degree of severity. The mild form of Alopecia Arata is characterized by a small and soft patch in the head where hair loss occurs. The chronic or severe type is described by a total or full hair loss. This is the type that any group age and sexes may suffer.

Although hair loss is very common, a person suffering from the condition shall not lose hope. The condition is known to be curable. The Alopecia Areata condition that is only characterized by small patches may have the hairs grow back even without a proper treatment. Below are some natural ways to treat your hair loss:

1. You can use Aloe Vera extracts to rejuvenate your hair.
2. You can drink herbs or apply them externally to treat hair loss. Known herbs that have significant effects on hair growth are ginger and lavender.
3. Aroma therapy will help you ease out stress that may cause hair loss.
4. Organic shampoos may be used to treat hair loss. These may be bought in your local market.
5. Eating and drinking foods that are rich in nutrients can significantly help in producing strong and healthy hair.
