Hair Loss: Healthy Diets to Treat Hair Loss


When you get old, it is just natural to lose your hair. Men usually suffer hair loss when they age. It is not natural when you are losing hair at your young age. Hair loss in this case is something that you should treat immediately. Women can also suffer from hair loss. The Androgenetic Alopecia and Alopecia Areata are two common hair loss types that may affect women, children and young adults.

Hair loss treatment varies according to the degree of severity of the infection. Mild form of Alepocia Areata may be cured even without treating them. The hair just naturally grows back. On the other hand, chronic Alepocia requires treatment that is more intensive. Total hair loss may take time for hair to regrow.

While you suffer these types of hair loss, you can actually help your hair to grow naturally faster than their ordinary growth. There are two possible things to consider here. First is to know their causes and second is to treat them using proper diet only. Treatment and medication is expensive and usually takes time. Eating a proper diet will help you increase the rate of growth of your hair.

Hair loss may be caused by the following:

1. Hair loss can result from the deficiency of nutrients needed by the body to grow healthy hair.
2. Hair loss can be a hereditary illness. Family genes are transferred by the parents to their children.
3. Increase of cytokines is one of the major causes of hair loss.
4. Weak or compromised immune system affects the person suffering it and results to hair loss.
5. Stress is the usual causes of health breakdown. Just like other stress related diseases, stress and shock is one of the causes of hair loss.

Upon knowing these causes, one should know where area they should improve to prevent hair loss. Treatment always needs proper diet. Below is a list of some foods or diets that may help you from your hair loss problem:

1. Fruit juices those are rich in vitamin C.
2. Foods that are rich in protein are recommended. Meat and eggs are perfect examples for this diet.
3. Fish has fatty acids required for healthy hair.
4. Fruits and plants that are rich in anti-inflammatory agents is also a recommended diet.
