Hormonal imbalance is one of the major causes of alopecia diseases in which a person’s hair becomes bald. This kind of disease is being transferred through genes, which means that it is not communicable and it is a non-contagious disease. A part of the population in the United States suffer from this disease in which hair loss takes place not only in the scalp but as well as other parts of the body as well as the pelvic part and the underarm.

This disease however is also present in some animals with hair disorder in which is somehow triggered by chemicals thus leading to hair loss. Hair loss in women is somehow very rare since men are the major victims of this type of disease wherein men become bald when they reach a certain age in their life. To some people, baldness may be a natural phenomenon. Iron deficiency anemia on the other hand is also one of the causes of alopecia especially when the body is not producing much iron required for hair growth. A human being’s body has a certain stage wherein the body has a hair growth gap. However, people with alopecia suffer hair loss for a certain time and the hair will grow in not more than a year. Vitamin deficiency is one of the causes of hair loss in a person’s body that is why people who are suffering from falling hair are required to eat foods that are rich in iron and in vitamins A and B.

There are some food supplements that can increase iron and vitamins in the body in order to prevent hair loss in women. Vitamin deficiency however can be prevented by eating foods that are nutritious such as vegetables and fruits. In that way, the iron count in the body that was consumed will be replaced twice. Therefore, it is highly recommended for people who do not want to experience hair loss to eat plenty of these healthy foods to avoid having alopecia later in their life.
