Organic Female Hair Loss and Different Types of Alopecia Areata Diseases


Alopecia Areata is a scalp condition in which hair is lost from different parts of the body usually in a person’s scalp. On the first few signs of alopecia, the scalp becomes bald, in which the condition is also called spot baldness. Alopecia Areata on the other hand is neither contagious nor communicable. The most possible cause of the spread of the hair loss sickness is the heredity factor in which the disease is transferred from generations to generations in the family tree diagram. A human being’s genes play a large role on the spread of this kind of sickness. Female Alopecia is triggered by some external factors such as chemical compounds in shampoos or soaps. However, the hair will grow in one year even without any medical treatment.

The organic female hair loss differs from the cause of hair loss in men since men are more prone to hair loss during their mid fifties. The possible reasons of hair loss in bald females are the hair growth factor in which the growth rate has a phase of two to six years in which a human beings hair has also a rest period in its growth cycle. The amount of testosterone in a man’s body is much higher those of a woman in which hair loss in women can be triggered by genetic factors.

Here are some of the common types of Alopecia Areata and the causes of baldness in women:
1. Diffuse Alopecia Areata – The persons scalp has diffused baldness over the scalp.

2. Alopecia Areata Monolocularis – Baldness is present only in one part of a person’s scalp.

3. Alopecia Areata Multilocularis – Multiple parts of a person’s body are suffering from hair loss.

4. Alopecia Areata Barbae – This hair loss disease is only present in male in where hair loss is only present in the beard.

5. Alopecia Areata Totalis – The person with this kind of diseases losses all the hair in the scalp in which the persons hair becomes totally bald.

6. Alopecia Areata Universalis – All hair in the body is totally lost even the person’s pubic hair and underarm hair in which this kind of disease is very complicated.
